Instead of gloom and rain it was a nice day outside. It made Rhea spunky enough to climb on top of the television in the living room. For a wonder it did not fall over.
Grant got a shoestring snake to carry off to his lair…this time about 2 feet away where Davout was standing.
The kitties all got a nice visit into the garage, and then some fresh air from an open screened window.
It was all very interesting.
Until it all got way too crowded.

Yes, that screened opening to the outside is a great attraction! My kitty boys love it! I suspect they enjoy the scents and sounds as much as the visual attractions. I liked the progression from one kitty to too many!
The flat screen televisions are great for us, but I cringed when I saw the first photo of Rhea on top of yours. My kitty Andy did that one day and he’s heavy enough at circa 10 pounds 5 ounces that the television looked like it would topple! If I recall, rhea is a more petite kitty, but the new televisions definitely are more dangerous to cats and people for being delicately balanced on their stands.

My poor kids are just begging for me to open a window. With the warm spell we had they got used to three windows being open. Now we are having frigid Arctic weather and they don’t understand why I am “punishing” them. We have no TV to endanger but the laptop leads an adventurous life. Thank goodness Rhea is petite and agile.

I suppose the new TVs aren’t quite as dangerously fragile as the old tubes were.
