Seats for All

For some reason no kitty came down to greet me when I got home.  I quickly found Rhea and the Generals, but it took some poking about before Davout came out.  I don’t think he was up here when I came in, but he’s been there all evening after dinner.

After seeing Grant doing lots of flat scratching, I picked up this slightly too small unit.  The boys seem to have claimed it, although Rhea did come and push them aside to use it a time or two.

Rhea continues to camp out on the foot of bed and stays there at night.  I don’t think she’d done either very much before the haircut.  Poor girl has a tooth cleaning coming up, and the Generals will go with and get some flea baths too in a day or so.

She doesn’t *always* hang out upstairs.

I find Rhea’s patterns, with her haircut, quite fascinating. The calico pattern shows up much more clearly. Of course, the other kitties are lovely, too.

On her I can even see hints of stripes, which I haven’t in other shaved tabbies. Her hair pattern makes the colors cover up like shingles on a roof, it is interesting to see the actual pattern

  2. I still can’t believe how tiny she looks with no fur! I mean, I know she’s a little kitty, but without the fluff, she looks even littler! Paws crossed for all the vet visits!

So glad the little girl didn’t have to have an extraction. Such a doll baby!
