The other day this picture showed up in one of those photo app notifications from 4 years ago when Rhea was just a kitten. She doesn’t seem that much different until you realize that the object she is under is about 2 inches high.
This was when Gus spent a lot of time hanging out with the kittens, despite his near 17 year age.
…at that time a normal carrier was like a huge room.
And small boxes had plenty of room for two.
Today Grant and Rhea were elsewhere but Sherman was hanging out nearby because I was doing interesting stuff configuring a new computer.
Poor Davout was just sleepy, not as grumpy as this picture makes him look.
Marshmallow fluff Sherman.
Aw! Rhea was so floofy and cute then, too! Thanks for reposting that.

The kittens were so cute then, but what made my heart jump was seeing Gus. I miss him.

There’s been a complete change of “personnel” since then, eh? They all were beautiful kitties, too. Sometimes, it’s nice to go back to earlier posts to recall the “old cats”.

I’m a relatively latecomer to this blog: I’ve been following maybe five, six years? But I loved (and still love) the old gang, especially Calpurnia and Gus. Calpurnia had the most beautiful eyes, and Gus was a handsome tuxedo gentleman.

Me, too. Calpurnia’s eyes were very unique. I think I’ve been following for about the same length of time.

“relative”- I meant to say “relatively late” but switched words. Cabin fever is making me dull-witted.

I’m having a similar problem to day. It amazes me how I can always see an extreme error after I hit “Post Comment”, but rarely before. I wish WordPress allowed posters to edit their comments after posting.

I’ve been ranting about that for years! There are other blogging services where one can edit one’s own comments as long as you’re logged in. But we’ve had four days of sunless sky out here. While I’m glad for the rain—since the drought, I’m always worried that CA isn’t getting enough—I don’t like that I have to keep the lights on in the house all day because it’s so gloomy. Plus, I get so drowsy by midafternoon, it’s almost impossible to do anything that requires concentration (paperwork, taxes, paying bills).
