Those Eyes, That Mouth

It is strange how these posts drift sometimes.  I start out with an idea based on one thing, and then change it midstream.  Today I started with the last two pictures, then chose this one last, and one vagrant thought made me flip the entire post around.

The eyes and the mouth in the next picture suddenly brought the title of a song by the Cocteau Twins…

Calla was doing her roll around on the rocks like a maniac thing when she suddenly did one of her incredible yawns, sideways.  It is funny that out back is one of the few places and times she will do this sort of unguarded squirming.  As a contrast, Julie is ‘on duty’ when outside and silly inside.  Calla is just the reverse.

Then the second picture brought this song to mind….

Cocteau Twins – She Will Destroy You

So here are the original pictures.  Two shots of the boys on the move with a blurry front paw.  Same day too.  You might expect it from Julie, but Gus can defeat the camera just as well.

And then Julie on the go.  At least this time I managed to get him in the frame.  Often enough he decides to move and is entirely gone by the time the camera decides to take the picture!

Cocteau Twins – The Thinner the Air.  Probably my favorite song of theirs…

Cocteau Twins – Oil of Angels.  Another favorite.

Did you notice the flowers tucked behind Calla’s ear in the first one? Very stylish my lady.
