The new tree is definitely getting use. I’ve even seen Davout climb up on his own either alone or to be near Rhea. This time he was on the platform below but Rhea wouldn’t let him alone. After a few tussles from below, Davout jumped up to the same level and used his larger mass to pin Rhea down. She exited to the lower platforms fairly quickly.
It didn’t put her off for long and later that afternoon she was queen of the hill again.
In Blog news, I just passed 100,000 views today.
On other milestones I was able to see just who put me over the limit..for 30000 it was a viewer from Burundi. This time, I missed the exact moment. But according to my stats I had views today from:
- the US (about half the total)
- Canada
- Australia
- the UK
- India
- the Netherlands
- the United Arab Emirates
- Qatar
- Spain
- South Africa
- Argentina
- Greece
- New Zealand
India, UAE and Qatar are pretty rare finds and had several hits. Spain is actually 4th in all time views by country, which is something of a surprise me due to language. Certainly South America and Mexico are far down on the list presumably due to language differences.
Davout is bored by talk of Blog Statistics.
Yes, after Rhea came down later in the evening Davout climbed up to the top himself.

If you do a stats for the entire time you’ve had your blog, you will be even more astounded how many places your kittens (and the late great “old Cats”) have been viewed.
I don’t have anywhere near as many hits on my blog, but the list of countries where it has been viewed is nothing short of amazing.Seriously, what’s the matter with Ukraine? They are about the only major place where no one’s opened my blog! Ha!
I bet you even have some hits on Antarctica, if they have any Internet connectivity at those research stations, your kittens are so entertaining!

I do watch the cumulative stats, although they don’t cover the whole life of the blog, more like 80 percent or so. I have 43 hits from Ukraine. None from Antarctica. The stations there might be tagged with the countries that own them. It isn’t even on the map.
I have hits from most places except for Inland Africa, Central Asia, Iran and Mongolia, and I think Kosovo is the only countries in Europe I don’t have a view from. I have dozens of little islands all over the place.
