Shadow Walk

Yesterday I let the cats out front and Calla took off for the neighbor’s front door again.  I headed her back when she spotted another neighbor coming to the pool next door.  She kept her eyes fixed on the woman.

She moved along with he as she got closer, but didn’t seem to be scared.  There’s about 10 feet of grass between them.

Calla kept pace, more or less while stay-at-home Gus kept an eye on the woman himself.  He feels pretty secure with the bushes in between.  And the door is ready for a hasty retreat.

  1. How nice of Calla to let people admire her gorgeousness! As I’m sure the woman couldn’t help but do!
Gus is a smart boy, keeping his distance. You never know about strangers, especially those who get in water! A kitty anathema!
